Well-making: Understanding what works from lived experience

The importance of looking after our mental health has been a prominent topic discussion nationally, regionally and locally since the United Kingdom experienced increased levels stress uncertainty caused exacerbated by COVID-19 pandemic. People working in arts, culture sectors – such as professionals, artist practitioners, academics, charities volunteer groups are concerned with how pandemic adversely disproportionately impacted vulnerable members society. Encouragingly, invested stakeholders non-clinical practice have reported on successes everyday creativity form psychosocial programmes that tackle social isolation using arts opportunities to improve well-being. This article focuses Lived Experience Network (LENs) highlight involving experts experience research provides deeper understanding what works does not when co-creating meaningful counter isolation.
